Plane Tree

A film dedicated to mothers.

Two sons, two daughters, grandsons, granddaughters; plants, records, a gramophone and a trunk which are carried from one house to another every two months. And ‘a plane tree’ where they meet every two months, underneath it!

Although the retired teacher Mrs. Adviye’s a little mischievous, sometimes a little peevish character seems to make things difficult for her children, for her grandson Barış, the most meaningful thing in his life is his ‘grandma.’ Only Barış looks forward to the meetings under ‘The Plane Tree’ and their turn to look after the grandma in their house to come soon!
